If you’ve worked in this industry long enough, you’ve noticed that it’s predicated on the relationships that you’ve developed. That’s why we were excited to host Canada-based SDI Marketing and Jack Link’s Canada once again. Not too long ago, they booked our studio for a project featuring San Jose Sharks defensemen Brent Burns. In that campaign, the hockey player trained with the famed Jack Link’s Sasquatch. As a refresher, check out the article: How Creativity Can Turn A Studio Into Anything You Can Imagine.
Welcome Back Jack Link’s
So, it was no surprise that the team at SDI chose our studio to shoot their latest campaign. It’s always exciting working with a team to prepare the space beforehand. For SDI, the major task was to paint the cyc a pastel yellow color to fit the creative vision they developed. And of course, we also provided crew and equipment rental.
SDI had the whole project mapped out via 3D renderings. And when we say mapped out, it was detailed down to the centimeter. We watched as their team fine-tuned the set design as well as how they communicated and executed decisions – in realtime.
It’s always inspiring watching other crews work and how they realize their ideas. In many ways, it’s an educational experience where you can hand pick tactics that can be incorporated into your own creative workflow.

Till Next Time
It’s encouraging and gives a fulfilling feeling when our studio space is booked by previous clients. This goes to show that if you provide a client with a positive experience, they’ll remember you for future projects – even if the relationship is separated by many miles and an international border. Here at Mac House, our goal is to cultivate relationships with clients and to develop a rapport.
The hard part about the now is being able to shine and leave a lasting impression. And if you’re able to make it happen, there’s a whole future ahead of collaborations.
